This image was made at Giving Pond in the Delaware Canal State Park below Upper Black Eddy, Pa. Conditions were very foggy and the lifting fog left behind a shroud of dewdrops on every spider web around. It was just a question of finding the right spider web. Some might think this image was made with a macro lens but, in reality it was made with a 300mm lens and 2x teleconverter on a 1.6x crop camera (that’s a 35mm equivalent focal length of 960mm!).
