The schedule for this weekend’s group shoot has been finalized, and it’s shaping up to be a great day. Camp Geiger will have over 300 re-enactors on site, and the weather is looking much more reasonable than last year.
We will have a tent and banner set up near the red caboose from the start of the day Saturday until well into the afternoon to provide some shade, a meeting place, and a bit of publicity for the club. In the end, we will provide photos to the Camp Geiger group for their use. Last year we produced a DVD presentation with music, and they were thrilled to receive and show it.
The Saturday schedule is as follows:
| 9:00am | Open to the public |
| 10:15am | Battalion drill |
| 11:00am | Demonstration battle |
| 12:30pm | Lincoln arrival parade and address |
| 1:00pm | Artillery demonstration and formation for battle |
| 2:00pm | Cavalry demonstration |
| 3:30 – 5:00pm | Public battle |
| 7:30 – 9:30pm | Candlelight tours |
| All day | Music and presentations |

Bring along an 8×10 photo or two. We’re stringing up a clothesline.
