Ahh The Smell of Lavender, The Carousel Lavender Farm, 12 June 2011
Most of the group (See Photo) Christine, Debi, Beth, Anna, Lee, Ron (not in photo), Mi Suk (She took the group photo) and I arrived around 9 a.m. and were pleasantly greeted by a group of black and white alpacas and a staff member. The alpacas were full of personality and were happy to pose for the LVPC shutterbugs. I think one or two members were trying to figure out a way to get an alpaca home, I was trying to figure out how I could get one of them to haul my camera bag around for the day. The first hour was a free shoot and all of us took advantage of the hour to photograph the lovely farm.

Kattina V. Barsik, Esq., is an Intellectual Property and Registered Patent Attorney. Her practice includes advising clients on the scope and validity of patent, trademark, and copyright issues, as well as litigating on their behalf. She’ll be our speaker at the October, 2011 meeting. Scott Nelson reviews “Visions of India”
I was excited to get to the monthly meeting to see and hear the presentation on India and as a bonus, learn about photography at the same time. My best friend’s family is from India and in my travels of the world via my military service, India was one country that I had never been and I was anxious to learn more.

July 21st 2001 Meeting – Scavenger Hunt!
Bring your cameras and your walking shoes and challenge yourself with other Lehigh Valley Photography Club members. Use your DSLR, point and shoot or smart phone to capture images. Prizes will be awarded at the September 15th meeting. Our meeting will begin with business followed by a Q&A on camera tips. Handouts with specifications will be handed out and then off you go. There will be an opportunity to share your images via forum as well as presented in the form of a slideshow to members.
